Do you get your nails done on a regular basis? I used to get mine done every now and then, and my nails refused to grow. About six months ago, I decided to add manis and pedis to my beauty routine and get them done every few weeks, and have seen a major difference!
I started with a gel manicure, and loved it. It kept my nails looking nice consistently. The only challenge I had was it didn’t last as long as I liked. Only lasted about a couple of weeks before the polish would chip or my nails started growing out. I prefer a French manicure so it’s not as noticeable when my nails grow out, but I do like to try different colors every now and then.
Then, my sister told me about dip powder, and I fell in love! It’s the best thing that has happened to my nails, seriously. Dip lasts so much longer, like almost a month! My nails grow even faster and stronger, and I really like how it looks.

Pros and Cons of Dip Powder Manicure
If you’re considering a dip manicure, here are a few details to consider:
Dip doesn’t chip. Ha! I’ve never had an issue with the polish chipping, so my manicure looks fresh much longer than gel or any other polish.
It lasts longer than any other manicure I’ve ever had. Even with a top coat, my regular manicure would last a week at best. Gel is the next best thing, in my opinion, and would last about two weeks. Dip lasts at least 3 weeks to a month.
Dip gives you a similar look to acrylic nails without having to get tips. I thought you had to have acrylic nails to get a dip manicure, and I was wrong! I get dip on my own nails, and it gives a similar look without having to get acrylic nails glued on my nails.
Dip is more expensive than a regular manicure. You’re going to spend about $50 for a dip manicure, especially if you get French. But it’s worth it, because it lasts longer.
