Blazers are having a moment right now. They’re trending is so many different colors and styles. I used to be again blazers because they reminded me of working in corporate, but I’ve seen them styled so many different ways, including more casual looks, so I’ve changed my mind.
I have a couple blazers in my closet, but have been on the hunt for a few more, specifically for spring and summer. I have a thicker one for fall, and this grey one that can be worn year round. But, I can’t wait to get my hands on a linen blazer and a bright color one, like blue or green.
This blazer is from H&M, and they have a great selection of both oversize and regular fit blazers right now. This one is more of a tradition fit, which I like for more business and business casual looks, like this casual dress from Eloquii or pull-on pants. But, I want an oversized one that I can wear with more casual looks, like shorts and jeans. And it’s just a different silhouette.
I’ve also been looking for blazers for a larger top and that flatters plus size women. Since I’m larger on top, most blazers stop just in the middle. I likely wouldn’t button it, so it’s not that big of a deal, but would be nice to cover more of my bust. But, sometimes oversized can look too boxy, so I’m looking for a happy medium.

How I’m Styling Blazers for Spring and Summer
Since we live in Florida, it’s warm pretty much year round, but even hotter in the summer months. So, I’m planning to pair my blazers with denim shorts, linen shorts and white dresses, which I’m loving right now. I’ll be sharing more about how I’m styling them for the season soon!
